Jordan L. Stroud
Director of Strategy and Program Innovation

Jordan Stroud is the Director of Strategy and Program Innovation at Holistic Justice Initiative and is a justice-impacted leader.

Prior to his incarceration, Jordan started out as a maintenance supervisor, trained as an air traffic controller, and most recently served as a cybersecurity analyst. All of these experiences gave him a unique lens on structure, systems, and human behavior.
 

After experiencing the justice system himself, Jordan made a decision to help change it from the inside. Now, he creates trauma-informed, relationship-based programs like TBRI® on the Inside.
 

His work combines real-life experience with the tools of Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®). He creates simple, meaningful resources that bring connection, calm, and hope to people who are incarcerated.
 

Whether teaching in a dayroom or reshaping policy at a whiteboard, Jordan’s mission is clear: to restore trust, build belonging, and empower new narratives through each meaningful connection.
