John and Tara Cook are the dedicated founders and directors of the Aleph Tav Project – Transitional Living. With a powerful story of redemption, John brings lived experience from many years of incarceration, while Tara offers a heart for restoration and advocacy. Together, they’ve built a faith-based program that provides safe, sober housing and spiritual guidance to individuals in recovery—including those with complex backgrounds.

Aleph Tav also offers support and housing for individuals with special circumstances, including those navigating reentry after incarceration or managing sex offender registration. John and Tara believe no one is beyond hope—and every person deserves a chance to heal, grow, and thrive.
