Community Partnership and Referral Hub

Building safe bridges from incarceration to restoration

This program provides justice-impacted individuals with access to stable housing, meaningful employment, and a supportive community—key ingredients for sustainable reentry. Grounded in trauma-informed care and relational accountability, it ensures no one walks out of prison or jail alone.

HJI carefully partners with trusted employers, property owners, churches, and service providers who understand the complex realities of reentry. Each placement is more than a bed or a job—it’s an opportunity to rebuild trust, dignity, and hope in real time.

Key Features Include:

  • Safe, Structured Housing
HJI provides supervised transitional housing with built-in accountability, curfews, relational support, and access to mentoring. Homes are intentionally small to foster stability and connection—not institutionalization.

  • Employment Pathways
Participants are connected with vetted employers who are open to second chances. HJI ensures job placements match skills and readiness while helping employers understand trauma-informed supervision and support.

  • Individualized Reentry Planning
Every participant receives a personalized plan that includes goals for housing, work, emotional health, spiritual development, and community connection.

  • Wraparound Support
Through ongoing check-ins, coaching, and partnerships with local agencies, HJI helps remove common barriers to reentry—like transportation, documentation, or mental health access.

  • Trauma-Informed Oversight
Staff and mentors are trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) and provide high-structure, high-nurture oversight that holds people accountable while empowering healing.

  • Community Partnerships
HJI builds bridges with churches, nonprofits, recovery centers, and businesses to create a collaborative network of support. These partnerships reflect a shared belief: restoration is a community responsibility.
